 Six Senses Map-902

“There are two ways of getting back to nature. One is by roughing it in tents. And the other is by visiting a top-of-the-range spa that’s environmentally friendly. As a company policy they don’t even pick flowers here. And the result? A totally natural experience but with every modern luxury.”

Our Experience

The drive in to the Spa was awesome! As this is what Six Senses is renowned for, it definitely lived up to its name.

The phenomenal view of the water and rustic timber beam steps where only a few of the outstanding features of this eco-friendly Spa.

The friendly and caring staff members greeted us in their all white uniform. One thing that did stand out to me was having the opportunity to meet the Spa Manager, Keerana. After having correspondence with Keerana prior to visiting Six Senses, meeting her at the Spa completed the ‘’personal touch’’ experience.

Khun Keerana has been working as Wellness and Spa Manager since 2004. She specializes in Reiki (Master Level), Cosmic Healing Energy, Graphology, and Meditation. She also uses this knowledge to train her spa team and other resort members and now occasionally becomes a special practitioner for our guests.
Due to current renovations at the spa, our treatments were not completed in the treatment rooms however this did not affect our experience at the Spa.

Our therapists prepared us for our chosen treatments;

We firstly showered in an outdoor, open slat but private shower where the scene of nature was truly set
A refreshing drink was to follow

Sally experienced this ‘’out of body, kind of different’’ signature treatment which is a calming and soothing therapy over the full body in order to achieve an overall sense of well-being. It is a combination of Chakra Balancing Energy and Harmonic Healing Chime techniques. This therapy allows your energy to flow smoothly by removing old blockages and stagnant energy. The treatment is energizing, revitalizing, balancing and deeply relaxing.
