Should there be a difference in an hourly rate of pay between Massage and Beauty Therapists?
I strongly believe that any therapist whether it be in beauty or massage, that if they are a specialist within their trade and have invested in additional courses and perform within all KPI within the establishment then they should be recognized and awarded accordingly. |

Beauty employers and employees have an opportunity to give input into the future qualifications in New Zealand Beauty.
It is absolutely ESSENTIAL that everyone in the Beauty Industry speaks up about what they feel should be included in Industry Qualifications.
You cannot complain if you don't speak up. And the results will effect employees and employers equally.

Are your treatments satisfying your clients and your bottom line?
This question is a constant debate in the industry; and one that many clinic owners and spa managers battle with. Should they be allocating 50 and/or 80 minutes for facial and massage treatments, and allow 10 minutes turn-around time?
