Spa & Beauty NZ sharing Louise Grays Personal Philosophy "We are more than just a Skincare Centre"
I thrive on the ability to be able to educate people, for them to understand how the body is amazing in so many ways and that facial skin often portrays what is happening internally and usually a guide to their total wellbeing. Also we need to become masters in the art of understanding people. |

Spa Beauty NZ sharing what makes our people and their business successful
Vivianne McIntosh - Why we do what we do
I very rarely use the word beauty in relation to what we offer. I always think that we’re in the business of connecting people back with themselves. Often that 15 minute brow tidy is the only time that a client has to themselves that month so making that experience as fantastic as we possibly can is incredibly rewarding and important |

Spa Beauty NZ sharing what makes our people and their business successful
Champs Elysees Day Spa and what they've found effective
When you are good at what you do and you exceed clients expectations, word of mouth can be your most effective marketing tool. Our marketing philosophy focuses largely on connecting directly and personally with our valued clientèle and building long term relationships and I work closely with our Marketing Manager to ensure our marketing plan reflects that philosophy. |

Meet Ashleigh Scott Facialist.
Ashleigh found that after working in Auckland as a Beauty Therapist for several years, she was becoming dissatisfied with the industry. She shares: "I loved doing facials – always have, but I found the focus had become solely focused on machines and lasers. A facial was no longer about touch but about getting an instant result and letting a machine do all the work."

Silk Spa in Taranaki cleaned up at the NZ Beauty Awards.
It is no doubt that the closeness and shared passion of the Silk Spa team has paid off. In the history of the NZ Beauty Awards, it is the first time that three trophies are able to call the same clinic/spa home!
Along with Silk taking out the New Zealand Best Spa/Clinic award, two individual therapists also took home awards on the night. |

Meet Tania Hore from Bliss Therapy in Dunedin.
Tania believes that great looking skin starts from within. "Research shows that you can absorb up to 60% of what you put on your skin. This makes everything you touch and everything that touches you extremely important to inner health and outer appearance of skin." |
