There are tricks that can delay your next waxing appointment. Just follow these few hacks.
Exfoliate regularly
Use a body scrub, or a pumice stone to exfoliate your skin regularly. This will get rid of the dead skin on the top, and make the hair growth finer and banish the in-growth, giving you a smooth feel. If you have sensitive skin, avoid using a pumice stone. Instead, apply Dove soap and remove it with a muslin cloth.
Be patient
Don't just fix an appointment the moment you see some growth, wait it out. Make sure that there is enough growth; it should be at least 1/8th to 1/4th inch long. This length also reduces the chances of hair breakage, as the hair is able to hold on to the wax much better. If your hair is too small, it might not get pulled out and it might break, leading to in-growth.
Fix a schedule
Fix a waxing schedule according to your hair growth and your previous appointment, and stick to it. Regular waxing will eventually result in lesser hair growth.
Avoid shaving in-between your appointments
Shaving can lead to hair growth in random directions, and should be avoided. If you absolutely have to, make sure to do it at least two weeks before your next waxing appointment to ensure best results.
Hydrate your Skin
Dry skin leads to more breakage during waxing, so make sure your skin is well moisturised. Post waxing, it's essential to use hydrating lotions or creams to nourish the skin. You can also choose to use aloe vera gel to calm sensitive and reddened skin.
