The benefits of LED Therapy

Written by Eclipse Skin Technology on September 26th, 2017.      0 comments

Over the past few years there has been a lot of hype around LED therapy in the beauty industry and it is with good reason why more and more people are introducing LED into their salons and clinics.

Our clients in particular have found LED a great match with facials to enhance results and offer a high end solution. Not only coupled up with facials but LED as a single treatment also provides great results for a variety of skin conditions. Since LED is non-invasive it is incredibly safe and treatment prices are very affordable.

When developing the Eclipse PDT LED system we wanted a system that offered all the things other systems seemed to be missing, we wanted a system that you did not have to buy separate heads for with different light colours so it was a must that our system produced all five light colours in one head, saving our customers thousands of dollars. The energy output of the system also had to be fully adjustable to allow more comfortable treatments and also the option to increase the energy to get even better results.

We understand therapists are busy and sometimes limited for time so we made the operating system super simple allowing for the operator to simply complete a consultation, remove makeup and jewelry, press start and the machine does the rest. While periodically checking on the client, the operating system allows the operator to leave the room to follow up with appointment bookings, check on other clients or make a much deserved coffee!
There has been a lot of research and treatments done over the years with infrared technology in light based treatments to help with wound healing from surgery etc, that is why we found it very important to add another feature to our system which is the use of infrared, this is built into every system. With all Eclipse equipment we have simple and professional modes, simple being preset parameters to deliver great results across the board and professional mode for operators that know how to tweak the settings to get even better results. In professional mode using the Eclipse system operators can choose any of the five light colours, the energy density, the length of time and commence the treatment, this has been great for clients wanting to target a specific condition like depression with blue light, for example.

Simple mode allows clients to choose between nine different treatments with preset parameters allowing great results and easy treatments in a matter of three button clicks. The recommended treatment schedule for LED treatments is two treatments a week for one month, with one month off then two treatments per week for another month, follow up treatments are done as requested.

For the little investment of approximately $135pw which is under the price of two treatments you can be offering your clients an additional high end service with great profit margins and safe, effective results.
